People Taking Warfarin Required for Blood Donation
People Taking Warfarin Required for Blood Donation.
People who take warfarin are invited to occasionally donate blood to assist in the development of a new INR portable-testing device. The sponsor wishes to build up a bank of donors who they can call on from time to time, with no obligation. You will be able to choose to donate blood from:
- a finger-prick and/or
- a venous blood draw (needle)
Some reimbursement for your costs, ie travel costs (up to $50) will be available.
